If you’re already into premium camping gear then you’re likely already familiar with Helinox’s ultra-lightweight camping chairs, tables, cot beds, and accessories.

Now your furry best friend doesn’t have to be left out of the cool camping party, and they don’t have to be camping to use it – it’s equally at home indoors or in your backyard.

This elevated dog bed sets up in a similar way to Helinox’s camping cots for people, in two sizes that are suitable for most pets.

Key Features of Helinox’s Dog Cots

Helinox Dog Cots have a weight capacity of 132lb (regular size) and 154lb (large size), making them capable of supporting even the heftiest of dogs, yet they weigh only 3lb 2 (regular) or 3lb 7 (large) when packed.

Raised beds help your dog stay cool after exercise and in warmer weather, and help stop them get cold in winter if they’re used to lying on a cold floor.

Resting on an elevated platform bed can also help support their joints compared to other styles of dog bed, and keep them cleaner when used outdoors because they’re not lying on the ground.

These dog beds also feature a tear-resistant monofilament mesh deck to help keep your dog cool, and the frame has a robust, wide aluminum base that prevents tipping, which is so important, particularly for larger dogs.

When not in use, the pet cot folds down into its own storage/carry bag, similar to Helinox’s ultralight folding camp chairs, beds, and other camping gear – making it easy to transport and great for camping, travel, and vanlife adventures.

To make the cot even more enjoyable in all seasons, an insulated puffy dog cot warmer pad is also available, as shown in some of the pictures above.

This dog cot pairs really well with YETI’s Boomer dog bowl, which is another one of Kepler’s favorite dog products.

The cot warmer fits snugly over the frame of the raised dog bed to provide padded warmth and comfort for night-time and cooler days.

Helinox Dog Cots – cost and where to buy

Costing between $179.95 and $199.95 (depending on which size you choose) this is an elevated dog bed for life, that your furry best friend will get many years of enjoyment out of.

If you also like the idea of the cot warmer pad, these are available from Helinox for $69.95.
