While I love innovative minimal trail shoes for softer trails, I do not have the excellent form and biomechanics of a runner who can get away with running on paved/tarmac surfaces with minimal shoes and not suffer the consequences via aches and injury. I’ll keep working on my form, but until that day, and even then, I like to run on roads in what I would call ‘normal’ road running shoes. Cue, the women’s Brooks Ghost 10 running shoes.
While you can’t beat a massage from someone who is trained to give proper sports massages, it is important to be able to work out niggles and tightness yourself, and to do so, we find having a few 'massage tools' around the house is helpful.
