Limone Extreme SkyRace – The Sky Masters Final

Featured image photo credit: Yann Audouin

29km of real skyrunning with a 2,500 meter vertical climb with the start/finish lines in the beautiful location of Lungolago Marconi in Limone sul Garda are the distinctive elements of this race.

After a 2km stretch passing through the streets of Limone, the course reaches Reamòl. This marks the beginning of the breath-taking, rugged ascent that heads to Punto Larici, proceeds to Passo Rocchetta and Cima Mughera. From here there’s a descent on the path “zete de Rans”. Taking the Braséla path up and down you reach Doss dei Ruer from where you will do the second part of the Vertical. Arriving to Cima Mughera again you run left (toward Baita Segala) along the nr.101 and then nr.421. From here you take the ascent to the GPM of the race, Monte Carone (1.621mt). Down again and up to Traversole path, touching Corna Vecchia and reaching Dalco. The last descent goes down to the technical track nr. 112 till Limone.
