Game. Changer. Whether you’re staying in a hotel or at your in-laws, this sturdy, packable baby travel crib (which doubles as a playard) will ensure your baby has a comfortable, clean and familiar place to sleep.

Well, every baby is different but I can tell you that for my kid, and many of my friends’ babies, this small, handheld shusher instantly calms them and helps get naptime started, mimicking the whooshing sound of being in the womb that they find so comforting. It’s basically magic, lol.
Nanit Pro Baby Monitor (from $180)
The Nanit Pro smart baby monitor works on wifi and has tons of features including sound and motion sensing, a nightlight, temperature and humidity monitoring for your baby’s sleeping environment.
It’s tiny, ultra portable and comes with a portable stand you can pack up and plug in anywhere while traveling or staying with friends and family. After doing a huge amount of research, this is the one we decided to buy for Sebastian, and we couldn’t be happier with it so far.
Nanit Sound and Light Machine ($100)
Nanit’s sound and light machine is another one of those ultra useful, portable baby sleep gadgets you’ll love for travel as well as at home.
You can select from a range of white noises and nature sounds, light colors, brightnesses, timers, and wind-down / wake-up routines, all from your phone.
