CLIQ Chair Review: Could This Be The Ultimate Portable Outdoor Seating Solution

This review covers this lightweight, portable camping chair's key features, pros, cons, comfort and more!

As an avid outdoorsman, I’m always on the lookout for gear that’s both practical and comfortable, and the CLIQ Chair ticks both of these boxes.

Unlike your average camping chair, the CLIQ Chair redefines what it means to be portable and comfortable while out in the great outdoors thanks to its innovative design, which allows it to be setup in a matter of seconds, and collapse down to the size of a water bottle in the same amount of time.

In this CLIQ Chair review, I’m going to share my experience using this lightweight, collapsible camping chair, my favorite features, and I’ll also share whether I think it’s worth the money, along with my final rating.

About the CLIQ brand

CLIQ is known for producing camp chairs that are durable and practical, and while they only have two different chairs to choose from right now, the CLIQ Chair and the CLIQ Lounge, which is a larger camp chair.

The brand prides itself on its innovative designs that are geared towards making your outdoor experience as enjoyable as possible and the CLIQ Chair is clearly a great example of this, read on to find out why.

4 noteworthy features of the CLIQ Chair

1. Impressive portability

One of the CLIQ Chair’s most impressive features, and honestly, my favorite one, is its portability. The CLIQ Chair is designed to be as compact and lightweight as possible without compromising its durability or functionality.

When I say this chair is portable, I mean it really is portable, as you can see from my photo above. This camping chair packs down to pretty much the size of a water bottle, albeit a large water bottle.

It’s not just about the size, though, weighing in at only 3.65 lbs, the CLIQ Chair is lightweight enough to carry around all day without feeling weighed down.

So, whether you plan to hike up a hill for a picnic with a view, or simply plan to carry it from the car to the campsite, the CLIQ Chair never feels like a burden, and it won’t take up much valuable space in your backpack or daypack either.

2. Fast and easy setup

The CLIQ Chair’s ease of setup is another feature that has made it a standout in my outdoor gear collection.

Thanks to the CLIQ Chair’s patented Magiq Hub and Telescopiq Frame, setting up this chair is as simple as pushing a button, and pulling it open.

There are no parts to lose, no instructions to follow, and no need to worry about setting it up wrong. It opens up in seconds, saving me time and effort when I’m setting up camp or just settling in for a day at the beach.

3. More comfortable than I was expecting for its size

Comfort is a key factor when I’m choosing my outdoor gear, and the CLIQ Chair does not disappoint. Despite its compact design, this chair is surprisingly comfortable.

Don’t mind me whilst I just fall asleep for a moment, ahhhh so comfortable! ๐Ÿ™‚

The secret lies in its ergonomic canopy, which is designed to contour to your body.

This means the chair adjusts to fit you, providing just the right amount of support and comfort, whether you’re lounging for a few minutes or a few hours.

One thing I particularly appreciate about the CLIQ Chair is that it keeps you 10 inches off the ground.

This keeps me dry and comfortable even when the ground is damp or rocky, and it’s something that is a little overlooked with some similar small camping chairs like Helinox for example.

The chair’s four-legged, tip-proof design with wide rubber feet, also gives it excellent stability whether I choose to use it on sand, mud, dirt, or grass, I can relax without worrying about the chair tipping over.

4. Great weight capacity

The CLIQ Chair may be lightweight and compact, but don’t let that fool you, it’s also very sturdy and can comfortably hold up to 300lbs max capacity.

That means it’s suitable for a wide range of body types, making it a versatile option for everyone in the family.

The high weight capacity of the CLIQ Chair is about inclusivity just as much as being a testament to the chair’s durable construction.

The CLIQ Chair’s combination of portability, ease of setup, comfort, and high weight capacity makes it a remarkable piece of outdoor gear.

Whether you’re a casual beach-goer or an experienced hiker, I believe the CLIQ Chair could make a great addition to your outdoor adventures, it has mine!

The features that could be improved

Although a minor issue, it would be beneficial if a storage bag was included with each chair. Currently, a bag is only provided when purchasing two or more chairs.

Having a dedicated bag for single chair purchases would enhance portability and storage, and I feel like one should be included for the price.

Is it worth buying?

In my opinion, the CLIQ Chair is worth the $110 price tag. Its portability, comfort, and high weight capacity make it a top contender for the best portable camping chairs on the market.

The CLIQ Chair offers a unique set of benefits that could make it a worthwhile investment for many outdoor enthusiasts.

So, whether you’re planning a camping trip, a beach day, or just looking for a comfortable chair to enjoy your local park with, the CLIQ Chair is worth considering. It has certainly earned a permanent spot in my outdoor gear collection.
