1.) Run the Abel Tasman Coastal Track https://www.trailandkale.com/adventures/running-abel-tasman/ ( you can even take a Kayak Tour out to the end of the track, and then run back along the track ) – We just did a separate Kayak Tour, and ran on another day though.
2.) Run the Routeburn Track on the South Island – video coming soon!! It has to be one of the most beautiful runs we have ever done. It’s 32km long and about 1400m of ascent. Hikers tend to take 2 days walking it, but trail runners will take it on in a day. Here is my Strava activity if you would like to see the route:
